This opportunity lets you program, set up, and operate CNC equipment to manufacture high-quality components while supporting efficient production and exceptional quality.Job DutiesOperate controls, load parts, and prove programsInspect parts for conformance to requirementsInterpret drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensionsResponsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderlyPerform other duties as assigned by managementEducation RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required. Technical school, machining certificate, or CNC programming education preferred.Experience RequirementsAbility to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications. Minimum 5 years' experience preferred in set-up of CNC Lathes and CNC Vertical milling machines Experience with reading and editing G-code will be expected Knowledge in the use of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments Knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts, and other accessories used on various machines Must be able to follow written and oral instructions Must be adaptable to a changing environment and competing demands and can deal with request changes, delays, or unexpected events Must possess basic math skills to include but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra for the purpose of calculating material fabricationPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience with CNC mills, lathes, machining centers, or multi-axis equipment is preferred.

Experience editing CNC programs, setting tooling offsets, and performing machine setups is beneficial. Familiarity with G-code, CAD/CAM software, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, Fanuc, or similar CNC controls is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate strong troubleshooting abilities, continuous learning, and commitment to precision manufacturing are well positioned for success as a CNC Operator.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and work around machining equipment throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, tooling, and components weighing up to 50 pounds. Manual dexterity to safely operate CNC machinery and precision measuring equipment.
