Duties include the set-up, operation, and maintenance of CNC machinery. CNC operators utilize CNC machinery to complete custom projects per specified drawings, ensuring the scope of work is completed on time, on budget with a focus on excellent quality while maintaining a safe working environment.Job DutiesInterpret fabrication drawings, bill of materials and work manuals.Set up tools per specified programming and cutting requirementsAdjust machine settings for tool compensations and material types.Check completed parts for quality of cut and critical dimensions.Identify concerns or problems with current design or manufacturing process.Perform daily, weekly machine PM's.Job Qualifications3-5 years' experience using a CNC Router in a woodworking factory.Ability to set up and change tools.Basic knowledge of G-CODEAbility to read and understand shop drawings.Ability to meet deadlines, budgets, and provide quality workmanship.Ability to work in a team environment.Ability to work between the hours of 9pm to 6amRequired Physical StrengthMust be able to lift up to 40 lbs. Frequently.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
