Technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.Experience RequirementsMinimum 2 years of CNC machining or manual machining experience.

Experience operating CNC mills, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, mechanical drawings, and machining specifications.

Experience with precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and CMM equipment. Knowledge of CNC programming, CAM software, tooling setup, and machine offsets.Preferred QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machining processes.

Experience with tooling selection, fixtures, clamps, shuttles, and production workholding systems. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices. Ability to troubleshoot machining, tooling, and quality issues. Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and commitment to quality standards. Forklift experience and familiarity with manufacturing safety procedures are a plus.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move throughout the workday. Frequently use hands and fingers to operate machinery, measuring equipment, and hand tools. Ability to lift, move, and position materials and machined components safely. Visual acuity required to inspect parts, read blueprints, and verify measurements. Ability to work safely in an industrial manufacturing environment.Job DutiesSet up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment following documented setup instructions and production requirements. Install and adjust tooling, fixtures, clamps, and workholding devices to ensure accurate machining operations. Manufacture precision components according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and customer specifications. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring equipment to verify dimensional accuracy. Complete production documentation, travelers, inspection records, and deviation reports accurately. Maintain daily production logs, machine settings, machining parameters, and quality records. Deburr finished parts using hand tools, grinders, and manual equipment as required. Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance activities to maximize machine performance and uptime.
