CNC OperatorLocation: Charlotte, NCPay: $23.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experienceSchedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:30 AMEmployment Type: Full-TimeOvertime: Potential overtime on FridaysJob Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join a precision manufacturing team in Charlotte, NC. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality machined components, and ensuring parts meet required specifications and tolerances. The ideal candidate has previous CNC operating experience, strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and experience using precision measuring tools.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines according to production specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and work ordersMonitor machine operations to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirementsAdjust machine settings as needed to maintain accuracy and efficiencyInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instrumentsPerform routine cleaning and maintenance of CNC equipmentMaintain accurate production records and documentationFollow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work areaIdentify and troubleshoot machine or production issuesWork closely with team members, engineers, and supervisors to resolve production concernsMaintain consistent production quality and meet established deadlinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferredPrevious CNC Operator or manufacturing experience requiredStrong understanding of CNC machinery, tooling, and machining processesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsExperience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring toolsStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWillingness to work overtime as neededPreferred SkillsExperience working with precision or high-tolerance partsFamiliarity with CNC programming or CAM softwareKnowledge of quality control standardsExperience with lean manufacturing principlesTechnical or vocational training in machining or manufacturingPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periodsAbility to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work safely around CNC machinery and production equipmentBenefits401(k)Health insuranceDental insuranceVision insurancePaid time offPaid holidaysPaid trainingOpportunities for career growth and advancement
