CNC Operator - 2nd ShiftUDM - Lapeer, MI 48446OverviewLevel: Experienced Position Type: Full Time Job Shift: Afternoon Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Category: ManufacturingDescription3-Dimensional Services Group is currently seeking experienced CNC Setup/Operators at its Lapeer location for 2nd shift.2nd Shift Hours: 3:00PM - 11:30PMJob Purpose: To operate a CNC and produce parts that meet customer specifications.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Advanced training for programming cutter pathsLearn feeds and speeds for all cutters and material typesLearn what cutter to use from start to finish when programming in order to be sufficientSetup a job and cut completely without assistanceAbility to run/operate more than one machine simultaneouslyAbility to start/finish a job in more than one type of machineUnderstand machine capability for cutter and toolsLearn to use the heat shrink machineAbility to trouble-shoot issues on machine operation and job issues, independentlyAbility to problem solve issues that arise with all related operationsFully understand the capability of each machineLog job time, dailyAppropriate lockout/tagout trainingFollow required PPE, and all Company and Safety policiesOther duties as assignedQualificationsEducation/Special Knowledge:High School Diploma or GED is required.PowerMill programming a plus.Experience:3 to 5 – years' work experience requiredExcellent organizational & time management skillsSelf-Motivated and able to perform duties with minimal supervisionWorks well in a team environmentWorking knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
