CNC Operator – 1st ShiftJob Type: Full-Time | Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Work Arrangement: On-Site Starting Pay: $18.00/hourPosition Summary: We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to support production operations in an automotive manufacturing environment. This position will operate CNC machining centers, perform machine setups and tooling adjustments, complete quality checks, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain production documentation. This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity.

Candidates will start at $18.00/hour during the contract period. Upon successful completion of the contract, skills will be evaluated and tested to determine eligibility for a higher rate of pay.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate machinery in various CNC machining centersSet machine controls according to program and install fixturesPerform machine setups, repair tooling, and troubleshoot machines within the assigned cell areaMake preliminary checks on first-piece production and adjust tools to maintain proper dimensions and overall part qualityManually position and remove tools as prescribedPerform quality checks on production as specified by Quality ControlReport quality defects to the Team Leader or SupervisorComplete and update daily production paperwork, including production reports, PPLH, TAKT, scrap reports, and related documentationAdapt and promote Lean Manufacturing principlesActively participate in Elimination of Waste Team meetingsSupport company goals and objectivesTroubleshoot CNC equipment and make necessary adjustmentsAdjust robot positions using a teach pendantQualificationsHigh School Diploma or equivalentApproximately 2 years of experience in an automotive manufacturing environment preferredWorking knowledge of CNC machining and troubleshootingExperience with CNC machine setups and tooling adjustmentsAbility to read and follow CNC programs and machine instructionsExperience performing quality checks using calipers and other workplace measurement equipmentBasic computer skillsAbility to use workplace equipment including SAP handheld scanners, calculators, printers, and calipersKnowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and Q1 compliance criteriaAbility to work independently and as part of a teamAttention to quality, safety, and production requirementsCompensation & Benefits (Upon moving direct)Upon completion of the contract, skills will be tested and evaluated for the opportunity to receive a higher rate of payEmployee Stock Ownership PlanIncentive BonusMedical, Vision, and Dental InsurancePrescription Drug Plan401(k)Paid Vacation & HolidaysShort-Term DisabilityTuition ReimbursementHealth & Wellness ReimbursementEmployee RecognitionDiscount ProgramsLinked, LLC is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
