If you enjoy working with technology, precision equipment, and seeing the direct results of your work, this could be the opportunity for you.Opportunity SnapshotUnder the direction of the Manufacturing Supervisor and department leadership, the CNC Operator 1 is responsible for operating CNC equipment to cut, process, and prepare materials used in the production of custom commercial fixtures and interiors.This role supports production schedules by ensuring materials are accurately cut, inspected, labeled, and prepared to meet quality standards and customer expectations.What You'll DoSet up and operate CNC equipment according to programmed specificationsCut wood, laminate, plastic, and solid surface materials for customer projectsInspect finished components to ensure quality, accuracy, and adherence to specificationsMake basic machine adjustments and offset changes to maintain quality standardsLabel, organize, and palletize completed parts for downstream production processesAccurately record material usage and complete production transactionsRead and utilize tape measures, micrometers, and other measuring toolsMaintain a safe, organized, and efficient work areaFollow all safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing processesSupport team goals and production schedules through reliable attendance and performanceWhat You Need to SucceedHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredPrevious CNC, manufacturing, woodworking, machine operation, or related experience preferredAbility to read and use measuring devices including tape measures and micrometersBasic math skills and attention to detailMechanical aptitude and willingness to learn CNC equipment operationAbility to identify and work with a variety of production materialsAbility to work independently while contributing to a team environmentStrong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvementDependable attendance and positive work ethicPhysical & Work Environment ExpectationsFrequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handlingRegular lifting up to 50 lbs.
