Typical job runs are 1-10 parts.Responsibilities:Retrieve CNC programs and load to the machineSetup, load, and operate CNC machines to produce parts per printsEdit in G-code and manually program using Mazatrol ControlSetup fixturing and come up with your own set ups on machinePerform first piece and in-process quality inspectionsSetup cutters in holders and adjust height and lengthRead drawings/prints to identify operations, specification, and tolerancesMeet precise tolerances and finishing requirementsUse various hand tools to finish parts and checkUse measuring devices like micrometers and calipers to ensure specifications are metPerform operator maintenance tasks like oiling, greasing, and cleaning the machine (5S)Use forklift or crane to store and retrieve fixturing and other essential equipmentOperate other machines in the department as neededQualifications:High school diploma required.

Advanced education or apprenticeship preferred. 5 years of CNC mill set-up and programming/editing experience required. Mazak experience preferred. Strong skills in editing G-code and manual programming in Mazatrol preferred.

Strong math skills and the ability to work from detailed and involved part drawings and specifications to perform operations to the capacity of the machine and controls are also essential.
