CNC Mill Machinist IIDirect hire opportunity as a CNC Mill Machinist II. Operate all types of CNC Milling machines under the direction of the area supervisor or lead person. Location: South Windsor, CT.
Hourly rate: $28–$35/hour (based on experience). Schedule: 1st shift (7AM – 3:30PM), M - F, + OT. Weekly hours: FT.Responsibilities:Performs set-ups and operates CNC mill machines and related equipment where programs, fixtures, and methods have been developedMakes all edits and adjustments as required to produce parts to work orders/blueprint specifications/sketchesThe ability to operate more than one machine in a cellular environment is requiredDemonstrates a working knowledge of feeds and speeds and a working knowledge of cutting tools and their applicationInspects work for all dimensional features as requiredProduces quality and quantity of work in accordance with Company requirementsResponsible for accurately completing paperwork relating to counts, scrap, time, etc according to Company policyPerforms duties always exercising good machining practicesMaintains area, equipment, and tooling in a neat, orderly condition including operator maintenance sheetsMaintains coolant tanks and fills as necessaryAssists new and less experienced operators as requestedObserves all Company policies, rules, and regulations including good housekeeping, safety and securityRequired Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years machinist experienceMust be authorized to work in the U.S.
