CNC Mill Machine OperatorATP is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to support our oilfield operations. This position is responsible for running the CNC Mill.The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with CNC mills, a strong understanding of oilfield threading standards, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.Schedule Monday -Friday 7 AM -2:30 PMKey Responsibilities:Set up, operate, and run CNC milling machines with minimal supervisionMachine oil and gas accessories and components to tight tolerancesRead and interpret technical drawings and specificationsWork with API, Premium threads, and other oilfield threading standardsModify, edit, and optimize CNC programs at the machine as neededSelect appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materialsTroubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments to ensure quality and efficiencyMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work areaFollow all shop safety and quality proceduresRequired Qualifications:Minimum of 10 years of CNC milling experience in a machine shop environmentStrong, broad knowledge of CNC mill operations (setup through production)Proven experience machining oil and gas components or similar precision partsFamiliarity with threads and oilfield specificationsAbility to independently run jobs from print to completionExperience editing and modifying CNC programs (G-code or conversational, as applicable)Strong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work efficiently with minimal supervisionPreferred Qualifications:Experience with multiple CNC mill controls (e.g., Fanuc, Okuma OSP)Experience with 3-Axis and 4-Axis machinesKnowledge of various materials used in oil and gas applicationsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsWhat We Offer:Competitive pay based on experienceNew machines and A/C modern shop environmentStable, long-term opportunity in a specialized oil & gas machine shop in business for over 60 yearsSupportive team environment with high-quality work standardsBenefits: Health, 401k, Paid Holidays, PTO
