CNC Mill/Lathe Set-up/OperatorUnder the direction of the Production Manager and the assigned Engineer, utilizing documents, fixturing and tooling provided, perform any and all tasks necessary to set-up/run and breakdown a process in a CNC lathe work center that will give the planned results for manufacturing and part through the 1st piece inspection and production run.Work Tasks and Responsibilities:1. Set-up approved processes in CNC mill or lathe, using all documents, fixturing and tooling planned and provided.2. Complete set-up/run through first piece inspection and production run.

Breakdown fixtures and tooling after manufacturing process is complete.3. Work with Engineering and Quality on any issues to assure a quality set-up/run is performed within the guidelines or the QMS.4. Inspect and document all needed characteristics per inspection plan.5.

Follow procedures (AS9100) and if questions arise stop and ask Production Mgr. for direction.6. Run equipment such to maximize through-put while insuring 100% conforming parts and operating at the safest levels.Qualifications:Skills: Organizational, Multi-tasking, Self starterAbility: Communication, Problem solving, PatienceComputer skills, Training others, Delegate tasksDiplomacyExperience and Training:2+ years experience in setting up and operating CNC Turning CentersEducation Level:High School, technical school or GED
