This is an exciting opportunity to learn the CNC function and grow with a great company—we will train the right person! This entry-level position is perfect for individuals looking to start a rewarding career in manufacturing and gain comprehensive experience by doing a little bit of everything around our plant.

From operating advanced machinery to handling final product assembly, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing high-quality fire safety equipment and assembling industrial fire hoses.At The Dixon Group, we value the contributions of our Military Veterans and proudly employ our nation's heroes. Veterans are strongly encouraged to apply.What You'll Do:Assist in loading raw materials, operating CNC machinery under close supervision, and monitoring the automated production of specialized parts for fire equipment.Monitor the machine while it runs, unload the finished part, and repeat the process and maintain a steady production pace and high volume.Load castings on robot tables and ensure it loads properly.Cut, couple, and assemble heavy-duty fire hoses according to precise engineering, quality, and safety guidelines.Rotate through various departments of the manufacturing plant to assist wherever needed—including material handling, shipping and receiving, and general shop support.Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work areaComplete basic daily maintenance on machinesCollaborate with team members and participate in ongoing trainingWhat We Are Looking For:High school diploma or equivalent requiredStrong mechanical aptitude with a desire to learnPrevious CNC experience a plus!
