CNC Manuel Prep Operator 10070MAPAL Inc. | Fountain Inn | Production / Manufacturing | Full time/ RegularYour tasks:Set up and operate cut-off saws to prepare material for production.Material measurement and testing according to blueprints with appropriate measurement tools like digital micrometer, height gauge, caliper, and digital microscopeProgram, set up and operate CNC EDM sink machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specificationsProgram, set up and operate CNC Multi-axis machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specificationsProgram, set up and operate Manual and CNC Wheel Dressing machinesSet up template, sizing, placing and operating a Laser Engraving machine to etch tool markings in accordance with safety procedures and MAPAL standardsDisassemble, assemble or dress Grinder Wheel Packs for productionSet up and operate surface grinder and edge honing machinesProduce product in accordance with job router, print and capacity in the most efficient mannerEnsure work area and equipment are maintained, organized and cleaned to MAPAL standardsExhibit and exceed all MAPAL behaviors as defined by policy, procedure, quality and safety standardsTasks as assigned to qualification standardYour profile:Previous machining/machine shop experienceProficiency in reading and understanding Engineering drawings and instructionsDetail oriented and skilled in understanding troubleshooting, process workflowGood Active listening; Verbal and written communicationWillingness to work all shifts and when necessary, overtimeDemonstrated ability in solving problems within the team and the overall operationPunctual and reliable; Organized and keeps order/cleanlinessWorking knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office 365Follows company policies and safety program as requiredWillingness to work all shifts, when necessary, overtimeEager and ready to learnHigh quality awarenessWe offer:Market competitive salaryMedical, dental, vision, disability/life and 401(k)Opportunities for career developmentTraining here and abroadTuition reimbursementWellness programs
