A RT CNC Machining | Bridgeview, IL 60455 We are seeking an experienced CNC lathe machinist who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts from blueprint to finished product.
RESPONSIBILITIES * Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol. * Select tooling, fixtures, work offsets, speeds and feeds. * Read blueprints, tolerances, and GD&T requirements. * Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges. * Troubleshoot programs, tooling, machine, and quality issues. * Maintain setup, inspection, and production documentation. * Maintain productivity, safety, and a clean work area.
QUALIFICATIONS * Minimum 5 years CNC lathe setup and programming experience. * Strong knowledge of Mazatrol controls is required. * Ability to take a part independently from blueprint to finished product. * Strong knowledge of tooling, machining methods, speeds and feeds. * Excellent blueprint reading, shop math, and precision measuring skills. * CAM programming preferred; CAD familiarity helpful. * Machine shop or manufacturing experience required.
