MachinistTexwrap located in Washington, MO is seeking a Machinist to setup and safely operate CNC Machine Center to fabricate quality parts per customer specifications.Responsibilities:Setup machine with proper toolingRun/adjust programs as necessary to produce quality partsVerify that parts are machined correctly to the printCapable of using measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc.)Read and interpret blueprints including material gauge and tolerancesReview/follow any specific instructions on job orderPerform first/last article quality check, routing per guidelines and check for burrsMake sure all jobs are recorded within MRP system and quantities are accurately countedPlace parts neatly with job orders and deliver to next work centerPerform general maintenance of machinesKeep work area clean and orderlyFollow all safety policies within work centerWork to achieve routing times and report to supervisor major discrepanciesPerform additional duties and assignmentsQualifications:High school diploma2 years technical training3-5 years' experienceDetail and quality orientedGood attendanceAble to follow written and verbal instructionsProfessional communication, attitude and imageMay require lifting of parts and/or equipment up to 50 poundsBenefits:Salary is only a part of a well-developed compensation program.
