This role also contributes to mechanical assembly and ensures all parts meet strict quality and tolerance standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CNC machining operations including milling and turningInterpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining processesAssist with final mechanical assembly of components and productsInspect and measure finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and tolerancesCollaborating with Engineering, Quality, Paint, and Stockroom teams to improve processes and productivityMaintain machinery and ensure safe, proper operation at all timesKeep maintenance and safety logs up to dateWork in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and chemicalsProvide status updates on in-process work to supervisorsQualifications & SkillsMust have experience with CAD/CAM software (SolidWorks and CAMWorks preferred)Working knowledge of G-code programmingStrong understanding of CNC machining processes (milling and lathe operations)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprintsBasic math skills1-3 years of machining experienceFamiliarity with FDA GMP/QSR and ISO 13485 standardsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityEffective communication and teamwork skillsTechnical certification or machining-related training preferredAbility to lift and move components and materials as required (typically up to 50 lbs.)Work Environment This position is primarily based in a production environment that may include noise, equipment, and occasional chemical involvement.
