And we'll be proud to have you on the journey.We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist (Router) for our Statham, GA facility. This position requires familiarity with CNC set up and running machines to produce high quality machined parts for custom designed packaging machines.Job responsibilities include the following:Read and interpret engineering prints, manufacturing manuals and both verbal and written instructions to plan machine set up, correct adjustments, and selection of tools.Produce high quality machined parts.Strictly follow all job safety requirements and procedures which include machine guarding, forklift truck and hoist operation and housekeeping requirements.Identify and choose the proper material from raw material inventory for each job order. May be required to cut raw material from larger piece of necessary raw material.Debur all necessary parts after machining operation to meet required specifications and tolerances.Measure and inspect parts for quality and adherence to specifications.Overtime and weekend work are sometimes required.Job requirements include the following:High School Diploma or equivalentAbility to operate CNC machinery.Experience in working with metal and plastics, use of calipers, micrometers and other tools used to check parts against drawings.Familiarity with operating drill press and sawsAbility to read and interpret detailed blueprint drawings.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.Ability to stay organized and ensure that the work area is clean, safe and orderly.Ability to follow oral and written instructions and be punctual and dependable.Ability to work overtime when needed.Must have a valid driver's license to occasionally pick up and deliver parts.Good interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.Ability to perform basic math including working with and converting between fractions, and decimals.Ability to do the essential physical requirements include but not limited to bending, stooping, reaching and lifting.What's in it for you?There's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
