CNC Machinist

Our manufacturing team is focused on creating parts needed in the aerospace industry.Summary of the Role:You would be responsible for setting up and operating a CNC machine. During your workday you would run various parts, perform minor machine maintenance, clean and deburr parts to ensure quality parts.Tasks and Responsibilities:Accurately pick material for the job, document the inventory and document appropriatelyUse ERP software to record the job for adequate job tracking and costingSet up the CNC machineRun parts per engineering specificationsDeburr and partmark as neededUse measuring tools as calipers, micrometers, and height gages to inspect parts for conformity requirementsDo minor machine repair and maintenanceKeep area clean and adhere to 5SEducation and Experience:A high school diploma or GED requiredAt least one year of CNC operator experienceSkilled in using measurement tools: calipers, micrometers and height gaugesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and work ordersAble to stand throughout shift and lift up to 50 lbs.Application:The final compensation offered to the candidate may be based on geographical location, work experience and/or skill level.
