Machine Setup And OperationDevelop project documentation (Routing) and machine code using various applications including MasterCam, Vericut, Solidworks and Microsoft office productsTrouble shoot program and machining problems, and advise as necessaryWork with peers to maintain production schedulesDocument and maintain tool inventoryWork with management to develop best practices, continuous improvement activities, work holding and toolingCommunicate with supervisor if any direction is unclearSet Up machining centers according to standard work instructions (Routing)Use best practice and standard operating procedure (SOP) as trainedProduce in tolerance set up piecesFollow temporary manufacturing deviation request (TMDR) procedure when changes are requiredDe commission machine after operationBuild / tear down tooling as neededInspect tooling for wear, advise supervision as necessaryMaintain tool crib organization and cleanlinessLoad parts on machine according to standard work instructionsUse best practice and standard operating procedure (SOP) as trainedInspect parts according to standard work instructionsUse in process inspection methods to verify non-conforming materialStop machine and notify supervisor when non-conforming material is detected. Tag material with defect descriptionSort and contain all additional non-conforming material according to SOPWork with peers as directed by supervisorDeburr parts according to standard work instructionsProduce desired results and visually inspect for abnormal conditionsWork in a team environment to achieve production goalsRun / clean multiple machines as directedWork with peers as directed by supervisor to achieve all production goals stated aboveMaintain cleanliness of all machines, tools, fixtures and general work area according to standardsImmediately communicate abnormal conditions to supervisorImmediately communicate with your supervisor and receive additional work instructions when all assigned work has been completed. If supervisor is unavailable, continue with cleaning duties until further notifiedCommunicate effectively and with respect to all personnel, both internal and external ex.
