Our team has decades of automation experience, spanning hundreds of projects and thousands of automation configurations.Position Title: CNC Programmer / MachinistThe standard schedule comprises ten hours per day with 8 hours on Friday and 48 hours per week. Typical working hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am-4:30pm, with overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40hrs/week.Responsibilities:Responsible for execution of multiple projects and coordination of machining activitiesAbility to produce programs for the CNC machinesRunning multiple CNC machines simultaneouslyMust be a self-starter with minimal need for supervisionMust be team orientedEnsure machining tasks are executed in the most effective manner regarding time, cost and function.Ensure internal quality checks are conducted prior to release and/or shipment.Coordinate with Machining Manager to follow work schedules and labor requirements for assigned jobs.Coordinates work requirements utilizing drawings, customer specifications and manuals as necessary.Champions company policies and procedures.Ensures compliance with safety procedures and practices good housekeeping.Responsible for day-to-day maintenance of equipmentAll other duties as assigned.Champion our Operating Principles: You will be expected to actively embody and uphold our ten Operating Principles, which guide our every action and decision at Axis Automation.

These principles are key to our culture and success.Qualifications:Specific experience with Haas CNC vertical milling machinesProficient in MasterCam 2D & 3D or equivalent3-10 year minimum CNC experience1-3 years minimum programming experience 2D & 3DProficient in lathe work a plusWillingness to work up to 48 hours per week on a regular basisHigh school diploma or equivalentValid Driver's LicensePay Scale: $25-$32/hour + overtime pay for hours worked over 40hrs/wk.Benefits: Axis offers a comprehensive benefits package to our employees with no waiting period.
