You will be trained to operate computer numerical control (CNC) machines to fabricate high-quality metal parts.

No prior machining experience is required, though a strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Load and unload raw materials into CNC machines and monitor the production process.Quality Control: Use basic measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, and tape measures) to ensure parts meet blueprint specifications.Maintenance: Perform routine machine cleaning and basic maintenance to ensure operational efficiency.Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace while strictly adhering to all safety protocols and wearing required PPE (Steel-toe boots, safety glasses, etc.).Documentation: Complete basic production logs and report any equipment malfunctions to the lead machinist.Qualifications & SkillsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required.Technical Aptitude: Basic math skills (fractions and decimals) and the ability to read a tape measure.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods (up to 12-hour shifts) and lift up to 50 lbs.Reliability: Strong attendance record and a "safety-first" mindset.Preferred (But not required): Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment.Benefits & PerksCompetitive Pay: Entry-level rates starting at $18/hr with room for rapid advancement.Work-Life Balance: Many local roles offer 4-day work weeks or 3-day weekends.Training: Comprehensive on-the-job training provided for the right candidates.
