Express Employment on 61st and Center is currently recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to join a local company in South Omaha!
Position Details
- Type: Evaluation Hire
- Schedule: 1pm-11pm, Monday – Friday
- Location: Omaha, NE
- Pay/Salary: $20-30/hr
Job Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, etc.) according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.
- Adjust machine settings as needed to achieve desired results.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, with a strong understanding of CNC machinery and programming.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to use measuring tools and instruments to ensure accurate measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
