CNC MachinistA growing machining company in Neenah, Wisconsin is seeking a skilled Bar/Horizontal Machinist; Direct Hire!This is a full-time opportunity with a 4-day work week, consistent hours, and a strong benefits package. Ideal candidates will have solid CNC bar experience and the ability to machine large frames and weldments.The Bar/Horizontal Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC bar or horizontal machining centers to produce precision parts according to customer drawings and specifications. This role requires strong setup skills, G & M code knowledge, and the ability to handle large or complex parts.Schedule for 1st Shift is Monday-Thursday 5:00 am–3:00 pm.
The 2nd Shift is Monday-Wednesday 3:00 pm–3:00 am and Thursday 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC bar or horizontal machining centersLoad, edit, and verify CNC programsSet up tooling, fixtures, and work holding as requiredMachine large frames, weldments, and complex partsPerform first-piece and in-process inspectionsManufacture parts to precise customer specificationsMaintain machines and perform basic maintenanceKeep work areas clean, organized, and safeCommunicate any production or quality issues to supervisionBenefits:Health insuranceDisability insuranceLife insurancePaid vacationPaid holidaysProfit sharing programSimple IRA with 3% dollar-for-dollar matchPaid breaksAir-conditioned shopPay rate is $30 - $40 per hour, $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd shift.Required Education:High School Diploma or GED equivalentRequired Experience & Qualifications:5+ years of CNC bar machining experienceExperience with G & M code programmingAbility to machine large frames and weldmentsStrong blueprint reading and interpretation skillsExperience with tooling, fixturing, and setupUnderstanding of machining tolerances and quality standardsAbility to use precision measuring instrumentsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsTrillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
