CNC MachinistHiFyve is hiring a CNC Machinist in the Manufacturing industry in the Milwaukee, WI area!Pay Rate: $30/hr - $36/hr+ (Based on experience)Shift: 2nd Shift (Flexible start: 2:30pm - 4:00pm) or 3rd Shift (10pm-6:30am)Location: Milwaukee, WIKey ResponsibilitiesPerform full setups and offsets independently to ensure high-precision production of complex parts.Operate both CNC lathes and machining centers to meet production goals and quality standards.Execute machining processes for large-scale parts, including components reaching up to 80" in size.Monitor machine performance and make real-time program edits or adjustments to optimize efficiency and accuracy.Conduct routine quality inspections using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and blueprints.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all shop safety protocols and lean manufacturing principles.Education & Experience RequirementsHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a CNC machining environment is preferred.Demonstrated experience handling large-part machining is highly desirable.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to perform setups, tool changes, and offsets without supervision.Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and editing G-code/M-code programs.Skilled in operating both lathes and machining centers.Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and schematics.Willingness to work overtime on off-shifts as needed to support production demands.
