CNC MachinistSalary Description: $27.00-$31.00 HourlyHours: 8:00 am-4:30 pm Monday-FridayWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will operate, set up, and program CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components. Your expertise in machining processes, blueprint reading, and technical troubleshooting will be essential in ensuring high-quality output.

Your mechanical knowledge and attention to detail will drive efficiency and excellence in our production processes.ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines, primarily using Fanuc controls or similar systemsProgram CNC machines utilizing CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software and CNC programming skills to produce complex partsRead and interpret detailed blueprints, technical drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and specifications to ensure precise manufacturingSet up machines with appropriate tooling, tooling fixtures, and calibration tools like calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM)Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment and troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtimeUse precision measuring instruments such as dial indicators, height gauges, and digital calipers to verify part dimensionsFollow safety protocols diligently while handling hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other manufacturing toolsQualificationsStrong knowledge of CNC programming languages such as G-code and M-code for efficient machine operationProficiency in blueprint reading and understanding GD&T standards for quality assuranceExperience with electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes for complex or hard materialsSkilled in SolidWorks and CAD software for part design review and modificationsMechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes including plastics injection molding when applicableFamiliarity with lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce wasteAbility to operate forklifts safely for material handling within the production environmentKnowledge of welding techniques for assembly or repair tasks as neededBasic math skills for measurements, calculations, and process adjustmentsExperience working with CNC milling machines and CNC lathes using Fanuc controls or equivalent systemsCompany ProfileFALA Technologies Inc.
