As a CNC Machinist I, you will set up and operate CNC milling equipment to produce high-quality metallic and non-metallic components. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational machining experience who are eager to grow their CNC expertise in a hands-on, collaborative environment focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement.Job Details:Shift: 1st, 2nd & 3rd (Monday - Friday)Type of Employment: Full-timeLocation: Jefferson Hills, PADivision/Department: Manufacturing/Machine ShopReports to: CNC SupervisorKey Job Elements:Set up and operate CNC milling machines to manufacture precision componentsRead, interpret, and edit G-code programsPerform machining operations while maintaining quality and productivity standardsRead engineering drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T requirementsInspect finished parts using precision measuring equipmentTroubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with machinists, engineers, and project managersSafely operate overhead cranes and material handling equipmentFollow company safety standards, policies, and manufacturing best practicesDocument production information, process adjustments, and inspection resultsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Required:2+ years related machine shop experience, or completed Journeyman machining programHigh school diploma or GED requiredAdvanced trigonometry and geometry machinist mathematical skillsBasic knowledge of CNC machining techniqueCompetent at reading and understanding measuring devices, blueprints and shop drawingsAbility to bend, stoop, squat, twist and lift up to and including 60lbs. unassisted.
