The team at Hadady, LLC pioneered complex engine fabrications and has continued evolving into a vertically-integrated business that provides its customers with products that few can replicate.CNC Machine Operators are responsible for operation of CNC Machine including lathes, grinders, mills, brake presses etcResponsibilities:Responsible for CNC machinery, demonstrating proficiency in fixtures, tooling, controls and conducting ongoing equipment maintenance and careSets up and operates heavy duty power press to bend and form metal plates, metal extrusions, formed sheet metal, structural shapes, forgings, and weldments by performing the following duties. Individuals in this classification are training on several forming machines but not all of the following: large press brake, small press brake, roll forming machine, and straightening press.Conduct minimal deburring and surface protection on workpiecesTake detailed measurements and preliminary evaluations to ensure workpiece acceptabilityPerform changes and minor adjustments of all tooling and attachments in the machine; troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during machining processMaintain comprehensive documentation and records relating to production, downtime, quality and other relevant metricsAssist in fixture set upConsistently meet minimum production output and quality standardsResponsible for area housekeeping including machine, storage area, etc.Ensure that these activities are carried out in accordance with current company policies and procedures, especially following safety guidelinesRequirements:High School Diploma or equivalent and 1 or more years of recent machine operation experience, preferably in a metal cutting and/or fabrication industryAble to measure accurately using various measuring tools as well as perform basic shop math and blueprint readingMust be able to lift up to 35 poundsSuccessful candidates will be able to demonstrate these skillsets:Knowledge of operating requirementsExperience with manufacturing equipment, including different types of cutting tools and their appropriate usageEffective communication with team members, supervisors and engineersUnderstand entire manufacturing processes, standards procedures and policesOperates with manufacturing safetyThis job description is intended as a general guide to the responsibilities and requirements of this position and should not be construed as exhaustive or complete.
