You'll play a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations by delivering accurate, high-quality components that meet engineering and customer specifications.In this role, you will:Set up and operate CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision componentsVerify machine settings and program requirements before production runsProduce first-run parts and perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with specificationsMeasure workpieces and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipmentRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documentationUtilize GD&T principles to verify part accuracy and conformanceRead and work with G-code and M-code programming at machine controlsSet up tooling, fixtures, and inspection equipment required for production jobsMonitor machining operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality standardsTroubleshoot machining issues and recommend corrective actionsPerform routine equipment maintenance and housekeeping activitiesMaintain accurate production, quality, and maintenance recordsFollow all safety procedures and quality requirementsSupport Lean Manufacturing initiatives including 5S, continuous improvement, and workplace organization effortsWe're seeking a detail-oriented machining professional with strong technical skills, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDExperience operating CNC machining equipmentExperience with drilling, boring, milling, turning, and related machining processesAbility to read and use G-code and M-code programming at machine controlsAbility to read and understand GD&T tolerancingBasic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divisionStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesStrong time-management and organizational skillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation and instructionsAbility to communicate effectively in written and spoken EnglishAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesPreferred QualificationsAbility to read and interpret blueprint specificationsAdditional machining certifications or technical trainingExperience working in a high-volume manufacturing environmentYour work schedule:This is a full-time position working Shift 4: Wednesday through Saturday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
