The hourly pay range for this role is $27.00 to $38.00 per hour and is commensurate with experience, skills, and qualifications.
This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in accordance with company policy.Responsibilities:Set up CNC lathes and Milling machines, and other machine equipment to produce precision mouthpieces.Interpret technical drawings and CAD models to fabricate mouthpieces accurately.Utilize CAM programming (Mastercam) for CNC machines when necessary.Employ precision measuring instruments, such as bore gauges, micrometers and calipers, to verify dimensions of finished products.Maintain tooling and equipment in optimal working condition, performing routine maintenance as needed.Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.Qualifications:Proven experience as a CNC lathe and Milling machinist with proficiency in setting up milling machines and lathes.Familiarity with CNC operations setup and operations is mandatory.Experience with CAM programming (Mastercam) is a plus.Strong understanding of precision measuring instruments including bore gauges and micrometer.Knowledge of tooling techniques and materials used in machining processes.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Job Knowledge - Competent in required job skills and knowledge; exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills; keeps abreast of current developments; requires minimal supervision; displays understanding of how job relates to others; uses resources effectively.Use of Technology - Demonstrates required skills; adapts to new technologies; troubleshoots technological problems; uses technology to increase productivity; keeps technical skills up to date.Demonstrates attention to detail.Cooperation - Exhibits tact and consideration; offers assistance and support to co-workers.Oral Communication - Listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions.Teamwork - Balances team and individual responsibilities; gives and welcomes feedback.Attendance/Punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time.
