CNC MachinistWe are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to operate and perform basic setups on CNC lathe and mill machines in a production environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for keeping machines running efficiently, producing high-quality machined parts, and ensuring all work meets company standards for safety and precision.Responsibilities:Operate CNC lathe and mill machines to produce precision parts for productionPerform basic machine setups including selecting jaws, setting work, changing tools, touching off tools, loading programs, and adjusting tool offsetsReview setup sheets to determine machining sequences, dimensions, and proceduresInstall and adjust chucks, fixtures, collets, bushings, tooling, and related machine componentsLoad and unload materials using hoists, cranes, or manual lifting as requiredEnter and adjust machine control commands including feed, speed, coolant flow, and depth of cutMonitor machine operation to ensure proper function and quality outputMeasure and inspect first-run and in-process parts to verify accuracy and compliance with specificationsRead and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructionsDetect and troubleshoot machining issues and communicate problems to supervisors or setup personnelReplace dull cutting tools and maintain proper machine operationDocument production counts and job tracking information accuratelyMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all safety policies and procedures at all timesQualifications:High School Diploma or GED preferredPrevious CNC machining or machine operator experience requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentsFamiliarity with G-code and M-code preferredExperience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Basic computer skills including data entry and machine interface systemsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyStrong communication skillsPreferred Competencies:Strong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to learn and apply new machining processes quicklyGood listening and communication skillsProblem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesSafety-conscious mindsetAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods during shiftFrequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and material handlingAbility to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyWork in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, machinery, and coolant fluidsMust be able to wear required PPE including safety glasses, steel-toe boots, and hearing protectionSchedule:Monday – Friday 6am – 2:30pmPay: $18+hr DOE
