CNC Machinist

CNC MachinistWe are seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machining centers used in the production of shelter components. This role is responsible for producing high-quality parts while following blueprints, work instructions, and safety standards.Job ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machining centers including HAAS, FADAL, and MATSUURA machinesRead and follow blueprints, routings, and work instructionsPerform machining operations including milling, drilling, boring, tapping, threading, reaming, chamfering, and deburringInspect parts using measuring and inspection equipment to ensure quality standards are metAssist with building and repairing fixtures, jigs, tooling, and shop aidsProduce parts for production, prototypes, and maintenance projectsLoad and unload materials and finished partsMaintain a clean and safe work areaPerform other duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years of CNC machining experienceExperience setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machinesAbility to read blueprints and use measuring toolsBasic shop math skills, including fractions and decimalsBasic computer skillsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to work independently and as part of a teamNIMS CNC Mill Setup and Operations Certification is a plusPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive tasksAbility to work in a manufacturing environment with machine noiseAbility to safely work around machinery and industrial equipmentBenefitsMedical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceLife and Disability Insurance401(k) Savings PlanEmployee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP)Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid HolidaysEducation ReimbursementAll offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
