CNC Machinist

Job DescriptionPrimary ResponsibilitiesManufacture threaded connections in compliance with company and API 7-1/7-2 specificationsOperate manual and CNC machinery, including lathes, mills, and related equipmentInterpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructionsPerform routine and emergency maintenance on machine shop equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentAdhere to all HSE, Quality, and company policies and proceduresJob DutiesOperate shop equipment such as presses, bandsaws, conveyors, cranes, hoists, and liftsMonitor production to meet daily and weekly output goals while maintaining quality standardsManage tooling and equipment inventory within the machine shopInspect finished products to ensure compliance with specificationsCommunicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production statusReport directly to the Facility Manager or assigned company representativeSupport continuous improvement and safety initiativesPerform other duties as assignedEducation and QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of 2 years of experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipmentAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsBasic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)Good visual acuity, including color perceptionEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environment and comply with all company safety policiesPay Range$22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending upon experienceVeterans Welcome At NOV, we proudly support and hire U.S. military veterans.
