In this role you will have the opportunity to set up, trouble shoot and analyze the machining process.

There is also opportunity to run a variety of CNC Mills and Lathes throughout the Machine Shop.This position reports to the Rotors Supervisor and is part of the Machine Shop, located in Indianapolis IN, and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:Read blueprints and job orders to obtain product specifications, dimensions, and tolerancesPosition and secure work pieces to holding devices, machine tables, chucks, centers, or fixturesSet specified tools and depth of cut in accordance with material specifications and tooling guidelines; follow work instructions and set up booksThe essential qualifications for the job include:High School/GED Equivalency and 5+ years' machinist experience in manufacturingG&M code experience; familiarity of CNC machines with Fanuc Controls and CMM reportsStrong mechanical aptitude and the ability to develop solutions for parts out of tolerancesIt would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Utilizing a calipers, bore gauges, pins, micrometers, and various measuring devices.5's and troubleshootingAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 35lbBeckman Coulter Life Sciences, a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives.
