Job TitlePrinciple ResponsibilitiesOperate machine and secondary equipmentClosely monitors tool life and performs setup/teardown when neededMounts fixtures and workpieces in accordance with scheduleLoad and return proper goods to respective locations within staging areaDetect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or supervisorMaintain high level of 5S across entire work station and surrounding areaAbility to clearly communicate to other team members, especially shift changeovers and handoffsPerform inspection of machined products and complete all electronic documentationAdheres to the company's safety policies and proceduresCollaborate with programming team to continuously improve machining methods and processesPerform all other duties as assignedSkills RequiredIntermediate computer knowledgeMust be able to interpret models, perform basic mathematic calculations, and use hand held measuring tools and equipmentPhysical strength – must be able to frequently lift/push/pull objects that are up to 40 poundsUnderstanding of company quality and safety standardsKnowledgeable of mold base assembly and componentsCAD/CAM knowledge – Solidworks/Camworks experience preferredEducationHigh School Diploma or GEDWork ExperienceTwo (2) to Four (4) years of experience preferredPrivacy Notice for California ResidentsP.C.S.
