CNC MachinistWe are currently seeking a CNC Machinist to join our 2nd shift team in Clackamas, OR. This role requires hands-on setup experience, problem-solving skills, and ownership of quality in a production environment. This is a great opportunity to join a stable manufacturing environment, strong benefits, and opportunities to grow your machining skills.Location: Clackamas, OR Pay: $25–$30/hr DOE + $1 shift differential Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PMAs a CNC Machinist, you'll be responsible for performing complete machine setups and machining operations on a variety of metals, castings, forgings, and fabrications.

You'll work closely with production and engineering to ensure consistent quality and efficient processes.CNC Machinist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Perform full machine setups including fixtures, tooling, and offsetsSet speeds, feeds, coolant flow, and verify first-article qualityInterpret blueprints, routings, and specifications to hold required tolerancesEdit or input CNC programs using G & M codeInspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure conformanceTroubleshoot machining and quality issues in collaboration with engineering and productionPerform basic machine maintenance and tool grinding/sharpeningCreate and maintain setup documentationOperate forklifts, cranes, or lifting devices as requiredMaintain a clean, safe work area and follow all safety and PPE guidelinesMachines & Technology:Vertical CNC Mills (3-axis) – Haas, FanucCNC Lathes (2–3 axis) – Haas, Hwacheon, Samsung, Hyundai-Wia, Doosan5-Axis CNC Mills – HaasHorizontal CNC Mills (3–4 axis) – Mazak, HaasPrecision inspection tools including calipers and micrometersWhat We're Looking For:Prior hands-on experience performing full machine setups in a production environment is requiredAbility to edit CNC programs at the machine (G & M code)Strong blueprint reading and GD&T fundamentalsAbility to hold tight tolerances consistentlyA strong sense of ownership, craftsmanship, and attention to detailThis role requires prior hands-on setup experience in a production machining environment.
