CNC MachinistCSI Aerospace, Inc., a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, NYSE traded company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist. The CNC Machinist performs all machining operations required to produce finished products. Work from blueprints, specifications, job layouts, and written and/or oral instructions for the successful set-up and operation of CNC machines, dimensional inspection, data collection, and paperwork completion under limited supervision. 2nd Shift Position Available.

2nd Shift Monday - Thursday 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM Overtime as necessary on Fridays.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and detailed drawingMonitors and adjusts schedule to respond to internal production requirementsTroubleshoot parts and machine problemsSet-up and operate CNC machines to very close tolerances.Use calipers or other measuring instruments in order to perform quality control checks on parts in-process and upon completion.Ability to build tooling.Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.Recommend changes to processes or procedures to improve quality and productivity.Exercise care and safe work practices - work requires close tolerances and fine finishes. Tasks may include developmental parts, depending upon production, demands and product mix.Solve problems and deviations in accordance with previous training; interact with programmers to find solutions to new or unusual problems.Perform necessary tasks and paperwork for the proper movement and control of parts.Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations in a manufacturing environmentPerforms other related duties as required.Specialized Knowledge or Abilities:Strong problem-solving and analytical skillsExtensive experience in operating and programming CNC machinesProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsExpertise in using precision measuring instruments and gaugesAbility to perform complex machining operations on a variety of materialsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyEffective communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing work environmentLanguage: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before employees of organization.Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Solidworks & Esprit programming softwareReasoning Abilities: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, strict attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize as necessary.Education:High School Diploma or equivalentWork Experience:Five (5) years related experience, Hands-on experience through apprenticeships or on-the-job training is essential while proficient in CNC technology and metalworking. Post-secondary certificates or associate degrees in machining or manufacturing are preferred.Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The associate may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.Work EnvironmentThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderateDOT-FAA Safety Sensitive Position.
