CNC Machinist – 1st ShiftPay: $23.00–$28.00 per hour, based on experience Shift: 1st Shift, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday–Friday, No weekendsJob DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing manufacturing team. This position requires previous CNC machining experience, strong math skills, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and prints accurately. The CNC Machinist will primarily operate a Hurco 3-Axis CNC machine and Leadwell CNC lathe.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working independently in a manufacturing environment.ResponsibilitiesOperate Hurco 3-Axis CNC machining equipmentOperate Leadwell CNC latheRead and interpret blueprints, prints, drawings, and specificationsUse measurements and calculations to accurately produce parts to printSet up and operate CNC equipment as requiredMonitor machining operations and make necessary adjustmentsInspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standardsUse precision measuring tools to verify dimensionsIdentify and troubleshoot basic machining and production issuesMaintain equipment and a clean, organized work areaFollow all company safety and quality proceduresPerform other machining and production duties as assignedQualificationsPrevious CNC machining experience is requiredAbility to read and interpret blueprints/prints is requiredStrong math skills and ability to work with measurements and tolerancesGood computer skillsExperience operating CNC mills and/or CNC lathesHurco CNC experience is preferredLeadwell lathe experience is preferredExperience with presses, drills, manual lathes, or other machining/fabrication equipment is a plusAbility to use precision measuring equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsGood attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyBenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceLife insurance401(k)One week of vacation after one yearTwo weeks of vacation after two yearsWhat We're Looking For We are looking for an experienced CNC machinist who understands how to take a print and turn it into an accurately machined part.
