CNC Machinist 1Come join us at our new 2.4 million square foot factory in Henderson, NV. A CNC Machinist 1 sets-up and operates CNC & manual machines to produce parts per specifications during production operations.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Follow safety requirements within the department.Access and understand daily and weekly schedules.Find, read and follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad).Inspect machined part.Correctly use all precision measuring instruments to verify part integrity.Correctly load and unload parts.Set and manage tools including knowledge of tool life and tool wear.Make any machine adjustment to maintain part integrity.Restart the machines at the required place in the operation.Set-up machines and produce good parts when given programs, fixtures and a tool list.Train Operators to run the machines and produce good parts upon completion of a set-up.Troubleshoot some technical issues.Maintain machines (oils, coolant, filters, and cleanliness).Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.• Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc.• Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.Supervisory Responsibilities: This job does not have any supervisory activities.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty adequately.
