CNC Machine Operator

CNC Set Up OperatorThe CNC Set Up Operator is responsible for the efficient setup and operation of multi-axis CNC Lathe Machinery in order to run prototype jobs and production runs, in accordance to engineering drawings using advanced CNC Machinery.Duties and Responsibilities:Set up, operate, CNC Lathe and prove out new programming.Read and understand G-CodeInterpret mechanical blueprints as well as a variety of geometric and trigonometric principles.Transfer metric to inchesMaintain close tolerances (within.0001)Qualifications:Have a full understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsetsKnowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds and tool lifeExperience in utilizing all of the standard inspection tools in order to check your workConduct proper inspection of first piece run and in process partsExperience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controlsExperience working with aluminum and stainless materialsPast experience working with any of the following machines: Mori Seiki, EurPay: $23-$32/HR BOE Location: Westmont, ILAbout Surestaff At Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
