CNC Machine OperatorWe are looking for an experienced self-motivated CNC Operator, pay based on experience!What's in it for you?Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!CNC Machine Operator Details:Temp-to-Hire position$20.00 to $30.00 / hourFull Time work availableSecond Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:00pm to 01:15am)Set up CNC machining equipment, including lathes and milling machines, ensuring proper calibration and tooling installation.Read and interpret blueprintsOperate machines by loading and unloading parts, adjusting settings and monitoring processes.Perform machine troubleshooting, adjustments, and routine maintenance to optimize performance.Verify finished work-piece conformance to specifications using measurement tools.Maintain accurate documentation of setup procedures, production logs, and inspection reports.CNC Machine Operator Qualifications:Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC lathes and milling machines; familiarity with Fanuc controls is a plus.Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages including G-code.Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately.Knowledge of machining tools, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments.Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and quality control procedures.Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for precise part fabrication.Applicant may be subject to a background checkA conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
