CNC Machine OperatorThree D Metals is currently hiring CNC machine operators for their new facility in Valley City. We are looking for energetic and adaptable candidates to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who likes to be busy, enjoys working with people, and brings a positive, can-do attitude to every shift.

Experience with FANUC robots and Robodrill machining centers is highly desired.SummaryThe Machine Operator will set up and operate a variety of machining equipment.Essential FunctionsInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.Set up and operate machining centers, including punch presses and press brakesInstall and adjust tooling, including dies, cutters, and fixturesRead and interpret blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate productionInspect finished parts using measuring tools to ensure specifications are metFollow all safety procedures and company policiesQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily. Vocational school education a plusMinimum three years of experience operating machining equipment (punch presses, press brakes, or similar)Experience setting up tooling and making adjustmentsPreferred experience includes operation of Ehrts, Fanuc Robots, Fanuc RoboDrill machining centers, and Bystronic Press BrakesAbility to read and interpret technical drawingsLanguage SkillsAbility to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
