CNC Machine Operator / Trainee - Aerospace ManufacturingThe position is an entry-level position operating CNC machines under supervision to produce aerospace components. Lean fundamental machining processes while maintaining quality and safety standards in a precision manufacturing environment.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Operate CNC machines following established procedures.Load/unload parts and perform basic machine setups under guidance.Monitor machine operations and report any issues immediately.Perform routine tool changes and machine maintenance.Use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) for part inspection.Maintain accurate production counts.Keep work area clean and organized.Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE.Complete training modules and certifications as assigned.Assist senior machinists with material handling and setup tasks.Qualifications:Education & Experience:High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or trade school in machining preferred.Previous manufacturing experience.Basic math skills (algebra, geometry, trigonometry).Familiarity with AS9100, NADCAP, or similar aerospace quality systems.Skills & Competencies:Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to read rulers and basic measuring instruments.Good vision and manual dexterity.Basic blueprint reading knowledge.Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety.Working Conditions:Manufacturing shop environment; may require lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for extended periods, and wearing PPE. May involve overtime, weekend, or shift work depending on production demands.

Exposure to cutting fluids and metal chips.
