CNC Machine Operator - Second ShiftWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will set up and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Day and night shift available.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate CNC machines (lathes)Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructionsLoad raw materials and monitor machine performanceAdjust machine settings to ensure accuracy and efficiencyInspect finished parts using precision measuring toolsIdentify and troubleshoot minor machine issuesPerform routine maintenance and keep equipment in good working conditionMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaFollow all company safety and quality standardsShift & Schedule:Shift: 4, 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 2:15 p.m.

– 12:30 a.m.Special: No weekend work required; overtime available as neededQualificationsRequired:High school diploma/GEDOne or more years of CNC machine experience in a manufacturing or production environmentOne or more years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and/or manufacturing specificationsOne or more years of experience using precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers, to verify dimensions and tolerancesBasic computer and math skillsStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilitiesInterested and available to work second shift (4, 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday, 2:15 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.)Preferred:Technical diploma, certificate, or vocational training in CNC machining or manufacturingExperience making tool offsets and basic machine adjustmentsWorking knowledge of G-code and basic CNC program editsExperience performing inspections and documenting quality resultsCroix Gear BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan (401(k) with company match)On-the-job training and advancement opportunitiesWork EnvironmentThis position is based in a manufacturing/shop setting.
