CNC Machine Operator

Machinist OperatorWe are seeking skilled Machinist Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidates will have experience setting up and operating STAR equipment, including but not limited to NC210 (CNC Lathe Single and Dual Spindle and Turret), NC230 (Up to 5 Axes CNC Mill), and OMNI (Gang-tooled CNC turning center, high-speed, precision manufacturing of small to medium-sized parts) machines. This role offers opportunities for growth within a fast-paced, innovative environment committed to quality and safety.Key ResponsibilitiesDisassemble, assemble, and adjust cutting dies and sources in presses.Measure, inspect, and evaluate parts according to detailed specifications; make necessary adjustments.Prepare automatic machinery for welding and thermoplastic operations.Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision parts.Monitor machine performance, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and perform routine maintenance.Troubleshoot, report, and resolve machine malfunctions efficiently.Maintain accurate documentation of production and quality checks.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications & Experience3 years of hands-on experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment.Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.Strong understanding of tool cutting, machine setup, and calibration.Ability to work independently with tight tolerances (.001 or less).Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management.Proficiency in reading, writing, and math skills, and fluent in English.Additional Skills & AttributesExtensive setup experience (3-5 years preferred).Relevant certifications (e.g., CNC Machining Certification) are a plus.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex machining issues.Commitment to safety and quality standards.Training on 1st shift hours (5:30 am – 2:00 pm) for approximately 6-12 weeks.After successful training, transition to 2nd shift hours (2:00 pm – 10:30 pm).Physical ability to lift up to 45 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work in a manufacturing environment with safety gear.This position requires eligibility to obtain authorization under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
