CNC Machine Operator (Mill/Lathe)We're looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team! You will be responsible for operating CNC Mills and/or Lathes machinery, including various other production equipment according to the daily production schedule. You must adhere to PTI's safety standards, practices and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesRead job specifications or blueprints to determine machine adjustments and material requirementsMaintain great quality and production outputReports work piece defects or machine malfunction to shift leadConduct regular quality audits of parts produced by measuring and inspecting components to tight tolerances with calipers, drop indicators, height gauges and micrometersOperates hand tools to remove burrs and sharp edges from partsAssists in machine set upRequirements:2+ years previous production, manufacturing or related experience in an industrial settingAbility to effectively utilize basic shop math skillsStrong attention to detailPerforms duties with minimal supervisionFine hand motor skillsTeam playerSelf-motivated and quick learnerHigh School diploma or GED requiredSchedule & Pay· $19 - $21/hr DOE· 3:15PM – 11:45PM M-F training 1 st shift or 1 st week 7am -3:30pmPhysical Demands:· This position requires standing on your feet for long periods of time.
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.Education:High School diploma or equivalent requiredLanguage:Ability to understand, speak, and read English clearly.
