CNC Machine OperatorSaw & Drill Line Operator | Angle Line Operator | Plasma Table OperatorWe are a structural steel fabrication company supporting commercial and industrial construction projects. The facility manufactures steel beams, columns, bracing, plates, and structural assemblies using advanced CNC equipment and material handling systems. Operators work in a fast-paced fabrication environment focused on quality, production, and safety.Position OverviewWe are seeking experienced CNC Machine Operators to run structural steel processing equipment including saw and drill lines, angle lines, plasma tables, and beam processing machines. Operators will be responsible for processing raw steel material according to engineered drawings, ensuring accurate cuts, holes, layouts, and markings while maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.Primary ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC structural steel fabrication equipment safely and efficientlyRead and interpret fabrication drawings, blueprints, and production paperworkMeasure materials to ensure conformance with design specificationsSelect correct material type, stock size, and dimensionsTransfer appropriate data, markings, and identifying information onto materialsVerify cuts, hole locations, dimensions, and part qualityUtilize overhead cranes and material handling systems to load and unload steelMaintain production records and track material usagePerform routine preventative maintenance on equipmentAssist in troubleshooting machine issues and production interruptionsFollow established quality, safety, and housekeeping standardsKeep work areas clean, organized, and production readyRequired QualificationsExperience operating one or more of the following: Kinetic Plasma Table, Peddinghaus Saw/Drill Line, Peddinghaus Angle Master, Ficep Beamline, similar structural steel CNC equipmentExperience working in a structural steel, steel fabrication, or heavy industrial environmentAbility to read a tape measure to 1/16"Ability to perform basic math calculationsExperience using overhead cranesAbility to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout an entire shiftComfortable working in indoor, non-climate-controlled environmentsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred QualificationsStructural steel fabrication experienceBlueprint and shop drawing interpretation skillsExperience with Tekla PowerFabForklift experienceCNC programming adjustments and troubleshooting experienceProduction manufacturing backgroundWork EnvironmentHeavy industrial structural steel fabrication facilityExposure to heat, cold, noise, dust, and moving equipmentFrequent use of overhead cranes and material conveyance systemsLarge steel beams, columns, plate, and fabrication componentsJob Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa, FL.Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
