CNC Machine Operator

CNC Machine OperatorSURESTAFF is immediately hiring for an experienced CNC Machine Operator for a large manufacturing client located in Carol Stream, IL. This position will manufacture parts per blueprint, or process instruction, ensuring all specifications are met. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! Available shifts include: 1st and 2nd shift Responsibilities of the CNC Machine Operator:Follow all company safety rules, required personal protective equipment requirements, and department work instructions.Learn and perform basic CNC machine operation under the direction of a qualified trainer, lead, or supervisor.Load and unload material or parts, identify jobs and containers, and maintain proper part flow through the operation.Perform first-piece, in-process, and visual inspections using basic measuring tools and documented inspection instructions.Recognize and report defects, abnormal machine conditions, tool wear, or process concerns before nonconforming product moves forwardRead and follow basic prints, job packets, control plans, quality alerts, and standard work documents as training progresses.Keep the machine, work area, tools, and material organized and clean; complete routine housekeeping and scrap separation.Record production, inspection, downtime, and other required information accurately and on time.Communicate clearly with the supervisor, trainer, quality personnel, and other operators regarding safety, quality, and production issues.Support continuous improvement activities and additional training as assigned.Preferred Qualifications of the CNC Machine Operator:Previous experience using production machineryMust possess strong basic math skillsProven history of working with gauges and calipersAbout SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
