This role ensures parts meet quality, safety, and production standards while supporting a clean, efficient, and collaborative machine shop environment.Role Responsibilities:Read, understand, and identify blueprints and required materials for each job.Comply with standard work practices and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Meet quality expectations, inspect work for conformance, and initial and date Shop Tags.Segregate nonconforming or suspected nonconforming material and notify the supervisor in real time.Use various quality inspection tools to verify product uniformity and conformance.Perform minor machine maintenance as needed.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Comply with all EHS and PPE policies and procedures.Minimum Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Two-year technical degree OR a minimum of two (2) years of related machining experience.Ability to work effectively in a team environment toward shared goals.Flexibility and agility in a fast-paced, changing environment.Consistent attendance and punctuality.Ability to perform a variety of tasks safely throughout the day.Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., stand for extended periods, work around loud machinery, and perform repetitive motions.
