Duties and Responsibilities
Gallatin College Montana State University seeks part-time ( NTT ) instructors to teach one or more of the following courses
- GibbsCAM
- Machine Shop
- CNC Turning
- CNC Milling
- Tooling for CNC
- CNC Lathe Operation
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Demonstrated industry experience as a CNC Lathe Operation and/or Programming experience, including familiarity with Haas Controls.
- Demonstrated experience working with and engaging students and colleagues within and outside the department
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
- Three to five years industry experience with CNC Lathe Operation and Programming, with expertise on Haas Controls.
- Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff enrichment

The Program
Students completing the Certificate of Applied Science—CNC Machine Technology will acquire the skills necessary for entry-level jobs in CNC machining. Students will work to attain National Institute for Metalworking Skills credentials (NIMS), complete Haas V-F Series Milling Machine and GUI control setup, and gain knowledge and operations of Mastercam, Gibbs, and G-code.
