CNC ProgrammerThe role of this position is to create programs for the CNC Plasma and Flame-cutting machines utilizing part nesting software. The CNC Programmer position will grow and change as the department does.Essential FunctionsSupport all TTI/FSS Company Safety Policies to ensure they are followed, and personnel and property are kept safeRead technical drawings and guide in the set-up of machines in accordance with these blueprintsUse computer software to model cutting paths and program machines accordinglyProgram and oversee quality assurance tests to ensure products meet design specificationsAdjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining qualityConsider tools required to cut materials and program machines accordinglyTroubleshoot and resolve problems with the machines as they ariseAdditional DutiesAdditional responsibilities or duties may be required as needed in support of company operations.TeamworkTeamwork is essential in this position and the Programmer must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff.
